We have different stages of spiritual growth in the Kingdom of God: babe, child, son or daughter, young men or women, fathers, and mothers. Romans 8:1-19, 28-30.
To grow, we need to accept responsibility, accountability, and flexibility in God. Maturity comes with humility and brokenness. The closer we get to God, the less of us is left. We lose our arrogance, superiority, and haughtiness, the closer we get to God and to each other.
The answer for the Body of Christ is to serve and to grow now into what God has for us to do. We need to take on more responsibility, accountability, and flexibility to get the job done. God needs disciples not just leaders! Willingness of heart is greater than ability of mind and body! Psalm 51:10.
To serve, we need to submit to God first and then, to the spiritual leaders that He places over us. I Corinthians 12:12-21, 25-31; Romans 12:3-8. Lastly, The Holy Spirit has revealed to me that some of you are being hindered from serving God and growing spiritually because you have not honored your Father and Mother. Ephesians 6:1-3.
